Ruh Roh 2/2/2025 4:03 pm GMT	CBS Agrees To Hand Over '60 Minutes' Harris Interview Transcripts To FCC CBS says it will turn over an unedited transcript of its October interview with Kamala Harris to the Federal Communications Commission, part of President Donald Trump's ongoing fight with the network over how it handled a story about his opponent. Trump sued CBS for $10 billion over the “60 Minutes” interview, claiming it was deceptively edited to make Harris look good. Published reports said CBS' parent company, Paramount, has been talking to Trump's lawyers about a settlement. Meta has reportedly paid $25 million to settle Trump's lawsuit against the company over its decision to suspend his social media accounts following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Anonymous Coward 2/4/2025 7:29 pm GMT	RE: CBS Agrees To Hand Over '60 Minutes' Harris Interview Transcripts To FCC On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Laura Coates Live,” CNN Chief Media Analyst Brian Stelter stated that while CBS’s editing of its interview with then-presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris was mistaken and “a mess,” “that’s all it was. It was editing. It wasn’t a conspiracy to help Harris and hurt Trump, and that’s what it’s been turned into by Trump’s team. The fact that his pick for the FCC has decided to investigate this, it shows that everything based on a faulty premise is being taken very seriously by the Trump administration.”
