Is there a pistol on the red planet? Conspiracy theorists claim to have spotted hand gun on Martian surface

A handgun on Mars has led conspiracy theorists to believe alien outlaws may be running amuck on the red planet.
Nestled between Mount Edgecumbe and Wdowiak Ridge lies what some UFO fans believe is the greatest evidence of alien technology - a 'Martian pistol'.
The images were taken by Nasa's Opportunity rover in 2014 and some claim 'the images have not been altered in any way'.
The cosmic firearm was first spotted by YouTube alien hunter Streetcap1, who revealed share it with others in an online video.
Unlike others who have found hidden objects or animals on Mars in the past, Streetcap1 offers no detailed narrative regarding his find.
All he shares with the audience is 'looks like a firearm,' and suggest it could have been thrown on the Martian surface after an alien crashed its ship, as he points out there is debris from a craft laying around the gun.
A well-known Martian researcher, Scott C. Waring from UFO Sighting Daily, picked up the evidence and shared it with his UFO followers.
'I have to admit…it's incredible,' Waring shares in his blog.
'This is defiantly one of his all tie top ten discoveries of Streetcap1'.
Waring suggests the gun is about one foot long and points out there are four photos that showcase the gun - two are low quality and two are high quality.
'I guess this is why Nasa built the rovers, to find alien technology and scan it and possibly retrieve it at a latter date,' writes Waring.
Other conspiracy theorists say the images are so clear that they can see the detail of the trigger and what type of model it is.
'The weapon looks remarkable like a semi-automatic Smith & Wesson.45' and 'it looks like a SIG Pro semi-automatic', according to other Martian researchers.
However others are more skeptical altogether, one commenter on UFO Sighting Daily posts, 'Indeed it appears to be a handgun and indeed this cannot be Mars.'
'The Nasa lies have been stack so high they can reach Mars.'
On the same day as the handgun was seen lying among spacecraft rubble, alien hunters spotted an ancient burial ground.
The object, which 'is awfully close to what Egyptians use to encase mummies in after death', was found lying on Mars in a photo sent back to Earth by the Curiosity rover. 'Something remarkable has been found in a Mars rover photo,' explained YouTuber Mister Enigma, who first spotted the site.
'If we zoom into this Nasa image taken by the Curiosity Rover, we will see what appears to be some kind of sarcophagus lying on the edge of a cliff.'

If you squint while looking at the close up and think of a mummy's sarcophagus you can actually make out the details of what looks like the coffin for an ancient Egyptian.
The same video also suggests there is more hiding in the rocks above the resting place of the ancient alien.
'Another strange thing about this is that in another photo taken a few moments later in the same area, there are what looks like two faces carved on the side of the cliff facing the area of the sarcophagus,' explained Mister Enigma.
